After making the new slanted parts for the vents, I sanded them down a bit, glued them to the vents, and sanded everything down more to get them just right. You can see a test fit of the vent over the half-moon. I haven't yet sanded in the angled bottom edge, but I will be doing so before fixing them into place. I also intend to add magnets to three of the vents and half-moons for the removable doors on the foot shells.
