im only making these for fun, I'll be getting the resin ones on ebay for $30 . when I primed them, the sun was so hot it dried in 1/2 'n' hour.

Melted on Plastic

This was suppose to be a test but it turned out real good! I found an ice-cream container and cut it big enough to fit the vents. so dad got out the heat gun and melted it right on!

Cardboard Horse shoe template I made. Some time next week or this week, I will cut them at school in the wood Tech. Will be using a sort of ply, not sure what its called but is very strong and light.

1.5 styrene surrounds. Will put some white silicon round the edges for strength and to fill the gaps. yea, gaps. :(

Finally finished my styrene vent surrounds. I rushed straight into it, you cant expect me to wait until my skins are all cut!

next thing to do is fill in the small gap with some silicon and then paint it up blue.

This will be traced on to a piece of MDF and cut out probably at school this coming monday. Didn't take that long actually, Its because I used scissors.

Following what peter did, im making the LDP/large data port. When I finished my fingers were very cramped up. Actually got two blisters right now! :)

Only just started on my horseshoes. As you can see in the pic, where the shoulder hub will go, stills needs filing and sanding. This is no.1 out of 16.
